Day Three

Mark's mom, sister and her kids came up for a week the end of March. We had a great time. While they were here we went to this dorky little kids museum that the kids ended up just loving. It was cheap and we ended up being the only ones there. We have been to a lot of kids museums but this was one of my favorite trips since this little one was not over run by day care children and just hoards of children in general. There is something to be said for small town fun.

Lexi was getting ready to go on a trip. She loaded up her suitcase, put it in the back of the car and was off. (in her sweet glasses, more on that later)

It is hard to see but just to the right of her is a stuffed bird flying in the air. She kept throwing all of them off this fort yelling "fly."

You could turn on air to come out of this cone and then it would shoot balls and scarves in the air. The kids thought it was great.

Lexi was so proud that she had her cousin Joey and her Daddy locked up in the back of the police car.

They had this little dress up corner that that kids loved. They tried on all sorts of stuff but my favorite, and Lexi's, were these glasses. As soon as Lexi put them on she quickly announced, "look I am Harry Potter." She then wore them for the next hour.

The cone was also used to blow hair too.

Even Xander did a little dressing up. Cutest cowboy I have ever seen.

The other highlight of the trip was this. One day we went to the park to feed the duck. Well as soon as we got there it started raining. We went anyway and the girls got a little cold. So when we got back we put them all in the tub. My bath tub has jets in it and if you put just a little bit of soap in it and turn them on it makes an excellent bubble maker. The girls thought it was great.

Oh, man, those glasses are cracking me up! The bubble pictures are pretty awesome too. Annika loves bubbles, but we don't ever get that many. I can't wait to see more blogs; it's great to catch up on your family!
