So Lexi's new favorite thing to do is help me cook. She got her first taste of it on Monday when we were making some cookies to take to the neighbors. She helped me poor stuff into the mixer, "shape" the dough into balls, and best of all....clean the beater. It might have taken me a bit longer then usual and made a much bigger mess but Lexi loved it. The only problem is that now she want to help me make everything. Making pancakes the other day got a bit interesting when it came time to put the eggs in but they still turned out okay. I figure she's got to learn to cook sometime and it is probably best to start when she still wants to learn.

Notice the cookie on the far right....it is just a bit smashed. I guess she got tired of just placing them on the sheet and decided they needed to be smashed into it instead.
It was a great time had by all and the cookies turned out great.
